Originally from Savannah, GA, Lorna has been dancing since the age of 4, and began training at the age of 12 to be a dance teacher. She has studied multiple disciplines including, but not limited to ballet, pointe, tap, hip hop, jazz, contemporary, and modern. Lorna has been in several productions with Columbia City Ballet, The St. Augustine Ballet, was part of an advertisement flash mob for Lindt Chocolate, and toured as a member of the tap dance company, Noise Complaint, for over 4 years. She has choreographed many award-winning dances, as well as for local musicals like God Spell and Seussical. She graduated with an Associates in the Arts in 2016, and took over the performing arts school, Asbury Arts Center, in 2020. She loves working with kids and believes the arts are for everyone!

Samantha James, originally from New Hampshire, now resides in Los Angeles, CA where she owns Sampul Dance Academy. She has been dancing since she took her first steps and has had the opportunity to train in multiple styles throughout the years. She has had the privilege of training in New York, Africa, London, Boston, and more. Throughout her training and 19+ years of teaching, she has found her strongest passion in Hip Hop and Dancehall. She enjoys sharing the culture of the dance with those she gets to teach. Samantha has had the opportunity to be an instructor at the legendary Debbie Reynolds Dance Studio. She has always had a passion for dance and for making a positive impact on today's youth, and she is excited to work with the students at Life Moves!
