Kerstin Burt, a native of Germany, came to our studio when her husband, Darius Burt, received orders to relocate to the nearby military installation. After living in Richmond Hill for some time, she found our studio to enroll her child, Dominique, to dance. Nearly one year later, Kerstin joined the office staff of Life Moves Dance Studio. She is responsible for the front desk and other office duties as needed.
Kerstin graduated from Central Texas College in 2008 with an Associate’s Degree in Business Management with Computer Applications. Currently, she is working on a Bachelor’s Degree in Religion at American Military University.
In her free time, Kerstin volunteers for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) as a Virtual Judge for eCybermission. Kerstin is also a member of the Golden Key Honor Society and the International Scholar Laureate Program. Other activities Kerstin enjoy includes, Traveling, Inline Skating, Ice Skating, cooking, and relaxing.
Kerstin recently gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, Leoni-Frederique, and added another gift to her precious family. She is excited to help every individual who walks through the doors of LMDS. To speak with Kerstin, just call the office at 912- 756-8482 and listen for that German accent.
Ari Merritt - Office Administrator
Ari Merritt is a full-time college student at Georgia Southern University, and a part-time worker at Life Moves Dance Studio. She is currently going into her junior year, and is involved in Phi Mu, an on campus sorority. In 2011, she sought her passion for photography out in classes at Armstrong Atlantic State University, in Savannah, and has been taking pictures for friends and clients ever since then! Over the years, she has had the opportunity to work full time as the Office Manager at Scholar Rehab, an Assistant teacher at First Christian Preschool, a Waitress, and a babysitter.
Her passion for dance started when she was 2 years old, and her mother Teresa Merritt, has made it easy for her love of dance to continue. She has taken from Life Moves Dance Studio's teachers since the opening of the Studio in 1999. Although, dance has not been a part of her life for the past year and a half, she plans to return to the studio for class in the fall. She will be working at the Dance Studio part-time in the fall, and will be doing a lot of 'behind-the-scenes' work for the Studio!
